| According to discount hotels in Siofok David Krughoff (www.myiguana.com) early in 1997 he rescued Anna, a green iguana. She was suffering from metabolic bone disease and her symptoms included partial paralysis. Three years later she was thriving but blood tests still indicated a lower level of D3 than is considered optimal. After just 7 weeks under Active UVHeat, her vitamin D3 blood levels doubled and are back to normal. Anna was not exposed to sunshine and was not given any vitamin supplements during this 7 week period. Anna has become more sassy and energetic. Her appetite increased by 30% and her color is a more vibrant green. Anna blood study : "Active UVHeat 100 watt spot lights were installed above each of Anna's favorite lounging areas on April 1st, 2000. A blood sample was drawn on the same day which showed that her hydroxy vitamin D3 level was 85 nmol/L. Anna had not been outside for 5 months prior to the beginning of this study, but she had been receiving a complete diet with vitamin and calcium supplements which contained D3. She had also been under UVB emitting fluorescent lights for 3 years. Her blood was drawn again on May 22 and her hydroxy vitamin D3 level had risen to 177 nmol/L. Anna received no sunlight or vitamin supplements during this trial." |
