Bohua Chinese School, a not-for-profitorganization teaching school-age children Chinese (with Pinyin and simplifiedcharacters), will open its new semester on Sept. 10, 2000.
With the suggestions/supportsfrom many of you, our school is becoming more mature and more"formal", and among the most important improvements are the adaptionsof a set of new textbooks specifically compiled for North-American ChineseSchools by Jinan University. The school has also set up a general teachingguideline to ensure the quality of the lectures.
The youngest class accepts kidsover 4 years old, preferably born before 96/5.
The school will also offer aTaiji class for parents/adults, Chinese Brush Painting class for kids, WaistDrum (Yao1 Gu3) class for kids, basketball/volleyball/tennis/Taiji activitiesfor adults, etc. Go (Wei1 Qi1) class for kids will also be offered if there areenough interests.
To assist low-income parents,parents who are students or short-term visitors can expect discount intuitions.

Spring Semester: 1/7/01 - 5/20/01,every Sunday except 3/25/01 and 4/1/01, (17 classes + Performance on 5/20/01)
TIME: 3:00 - 5:00 pm. Painting/WaistDrum/Go classes run 2:00 - 3:00 pm.
