 | Pastor Charles Hill is a 1992 graduate of Loudonville High School, and a 1996 graduate of Ashland University where he received a B.S. in Criminal Justice with minors in Bible and Sociology. He is currently in his 2nd year of the Master of Divinity program at Ashland Theological Seminary. He recently was inducted into Eta Beta Rho, a National Honor Society for the Study of Hebrew Language and Culture. Charles has been married for almost 6 years to his beautiful wife, Tiffany, a 1995 graduate of Hillsdale High School and they have two wonderful children, Christian who is 3-1/2 and Grace who is 1. Following a 4 year career as a patrol officer with the Columbus Police Department, Charles felt led to answer the call that God had place on his life in the 8th grade, which was to someday be in pastoral ministry. Although he loved his job greatly, he knew that God was calling him to ministry. The Hill's took a step of faith and moved out of the security of a professional environment to pursue full-time ministry. As Charles was moved by the need presented in the Loudonville area for a new church that reached the unchurched, he felt led to start New Hope Community Church while continuing to further his education. Charles and Tiffany have been approved as church planters by the Mideast Baptist Conference after completing a strenuous assessment center, background study, and reference process. Charles was recently licensed to ministry through Berean Baptist Church, and is excited about this opportunity to reach his community with the hope that only God can provide. Pastor Charles has a down to earth personality that makes him a perfect fit for ministry. He teaches in a simple way that allows people to walk away remembering what was taught. His messages are inspiring, practical and relevant to everyday life, without compromising the Scriptures. Charles has said that people sometimes wonder how someone like him could have made such a change in their life as he has done (details of which can be found locked away at the Principal's office at Loudonville High School and beyond!) He simply states that God is a God of new beginnings and much grace, and it is his prayer to bring a new beginning and new hope to his hometown area of Loudonville, Ohio. It is his desire to share the radical love and hope that is the only thing that can help someone new life and hope in Christ. Jeff and Traci, along with children Jay and Hannah, have lived in Loudonville since 1996. Jeff is a graduate of Heidelberg College where he majored in Communication and Theatre Arts and minored in Music. Heearned his Master's degree in Interpersonal Communication fromOhio University. After completing some additional seminary studies, he was ordainedin 1999 by the Ontario Christian Church outside of Mansfield. In addition to leading worship and directing choirs for many years, Jeff has also served as a supply preacher for churchesin Ohio for over 10 years. Jeff has been a Human Resources professional for15 years and currently serves as Human Resources Coordinator for the Wayne County Public Library in Wooster. He also is serving his first term as a board member for the Loudonville-Perrysville Schools and serveson the Planning Commission for the Village of Loudonville.
