Free Delivery

Selectedcomputer systems come with free delivery and setup. This includes bringing the system to the customers site,unpacking, and connecting the various components. Any training, demonstrations, or loading of the customerssoftware will be billed to the customer at our normal service rate in effect atthe time of delivery.

 

Warranty

All new computer systems come with a one (1) year partsand labor warranty against defects in original materials and workmanship. Selected computer systems come with a two(2) year parts and labor warranty. Thisis a depot warranty. This means if youbring the unit to us we will repair it promptly at no charge to you; or if youchoose we can come to your site and perform the service, but you will becharged for our travel time at our normal service rate in effect at thetime. Systems with a two (2) yearwarranty carry an additional on-site warranty for the first year. Printers and peripherals are covered underthe manufacturer warranty, generally one year.

 

This is ahardware only warranty. Software is notcovered under this warranty, although software is covered by themanufacturer. Any service necessitatedby a software problem is NOT covered by this warranty and will be billed at ournormal service rate in effect at the time.It is not our policy to reload software (other than the operatingsystem) after a hardware failure.

 

Valencia luxury hotelsAnyalteration to the computer system that is not performed by The Computer_Lab mayvoid your warranty. Please consult withus before any modifications are made.Damage to your system due to neglect, misuse, or acts of God may voidyour warranty. This warranty doesntcover incidental or consequential damages or loss of business or revenue.

 

 

Class Policies

 

Registration

Registrationand payment for any class may be made in person, by phone, e-mail or fax. A seat will be reserved for you upon paymentonly. If only one student is signed upfor a class, the class will be cancelled.

 

Cancellations

Ifcancellation is made prior to seven (7) days before the start of a class youwill receive a full refund. If a cancellation is made less than seven (7) daysbefore the start of a class, you will receive a refund only if we can fill yourreserved space. Emergency cancellationswill be handled on a case by case basis.There is no credit or refund allowable for missed classes.

 

Payment

TheComputer_Lab accepts cash, checks, or Visa/MasterCard.

Basic Rates (07/01/00)

 

On-Site $100.00 hour

Depot(Our shop) $70.00 hour

PhoneSupport $70.00hour

Allrates are double between 5 PM and 9 AM, weekends, and holidays.

Paymentis expected when service is performed.Payment on established accounts is due within 10 days. Travel time to the customer site is billedduring On-Site service.

 

Guaranteed Response Service - Pager $1,000.00 year

 

Withthis option you are guaranteed a response time - 24 hours a day. We guarantee a return call within two (2)hours and to have a technician on site within six (6) hours. You will receive a card with our pagernumber on it, which you can use 24 hours a day when an emergency arises. Service rates follow our basic rates ineffect at the time service is performed.

 

PC-Club

 

Itseasy to qualify for membership in our Preferred Customer Club. If you spend more than $7,500.00 a year withus, youre in! You may also qualify bybeing a long-term customer, or by making a single large purchase within theprevious 36 months. Club members get both on-site and in-house service for$60.00 per hour until 12/31/99. After12/31/99 Club members will still pay only $70.00 per hour for both services,regardless of what the standard rates are at that time.

 

Service Priority

 

Our service schedule isset by the following priority schedule. We try to perform service (priorities1-5) within 24 hours. Customers withGuaranteed Response Service take priority over all other customers. Sometimes service completion is delayedwhile awaiting parts.

 

Priorities:

1.      Server down(Completely inoperative)

2.      Network unstable(Dependable operation in question)

3.      Workstation down(Completely inoperative)

4.      Stand alone computerdown (Completely inoperative)

5.      Workstation or standalone unstable (Dependable operation in question)

6.      Some operations willnot perform - any system

7.      System upgrade

8.      Routine cleaning

9.      Operatorincompatibility
